Editor,

I want to concur with letter writer Diana Reddy about finding a permanent home in San Mateo county for Carolyn Hoskins’ Black History museum. My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing her display while at the San Mateo County Fair last summer. What an impressive collection of cultural artifacts of the African American experience. Ms. Hoskins’ devotion to accumulating and maintaining this collection is truly astounding.

Lori - I agree that this is a treasure that should be preserved and be made easily accessible. I suggest to contact our Board of Supervisors that can find a suitable location for all of us to savor this important part of our history without the prevailing and unnecessary racistische overtones. There should be no argument or dissent.
