Editor,

Our district supervisor in District 5 is at it again. Supervisor Canepa just can’t seem to keep himself out issues that he has no business involving himself. Supervisor Canepa is now installing himself in the middle of a fight for a Chik-fil-A restaurant in Redwood City. This business decision has nothing to do with the supervisor or his district and yet he feels he speaks for the entire county. He is organizing a protest against this restaurant and threatens to use all the tactics of the left to try to shut it down and prevent its opening.

Though I do not have the megaphone the supervisor does, I want to encourage the restaurant and the people of Redwood City to stand up against his threat. Continue to proceed with your plans and I will guarantee there will be customers who will defy the liberal supervisor and the protestors and patronize your restaurant.

To all those who oppose Supervisor Canepa in everything he does and represents, please send him a clear message that his tactics that work so well in San Francisco will not work in our county.  When the supervisor talks about our values, he does not speak for me or many county residents. We were unable to vote in his election and we oppose most everything he proposes. This one is a fight worth having for our county. This is an event that will help determine its course. I hope to be Customer #1.

I hope to be Customer #2. In the meantime, I'll make a donation to the Chick-fil-A Foundation in King Canepa's name. He should be known for doing at least one positive thing. EAT MOR CHIKIN!
