Editor,

Do you even care about your average citizens anymore? From impossible housing prices to human waste lining the streets, it’s hard to believe that you do. Now the state plans to spend $100 million a year on health care for people in the country illegally and San Francisco wants to give inmates free phone calls. Guess whose gonna end up footing the tab? The answer is regular citizens, many of whom can’t even afford to live close to the city they work in. It’s time for a change, but too many people vote based on party instead of results. When did it become more advantageous to be a criminal or illegal immigrant instead of a hard-working, law-abiding citizen?
