Rose Mae Akiko Gough

Rose Mae Akiko Gough, of Pacifica and San Mateo County resident for 45 years, died at her home on Feb. 7, 2019. Beloved wife of Ralph Gough. Loving mother of Kurt and Erik (his wife Patricia). Dear sister of Carol Wiley (her husband the late Byron) and Wayne Hayashi (his wife Jean). Also survived by her nephew Lance and her other nieces and nephews.

A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, age 79 years.

A member of the Moose Lodge in Pacifica; active as a Prayer Reader at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church and loved knitting and gardening with a green thumb.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 14, after 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae. Visitation will continue after 6:30 p.m. at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Pacifica with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd. in Pacifica. Committal will follow at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Cemetery in Half Moon Bay.

Her family appreciates donations to Catholic Charities, Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
