Anne J. Scripilliti

September 4, 1926 – May 18, 2019

Anne J. Scripilliti, 92, left this earth to join her husband in Heaven on May 18, 2019 surrounded by family. On September 4, 1926 in Trenton, NJ a star was born. Anne was the youngest of four born to Sicilian parents. Her mother moved the family to San Francisco when she was young and it was there that she met the love of her life, Rosario (Scrip). When he returned home from the war he told her they were going to be married and they were on June 16, 1946. They spent the next 72 years together, raising their three children in Belmont, California and then later retiring to Mesa, Arizona.

Anne was very blessed with a loving husband and a large Italian family she could cook for. She loved to entertain, play cards, press lady luck and be surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, JoAnn (Robert), Joseph (Vicki) and Jeanne (Rick) and seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, mother, two sisters, brother and grandson.

Anne had a beautiful voice and could always be heard singing or humming a tune. She always sang at family events and everyone loved listening to her. She gave up her singing career to be a wife and mother, which she never regretted.

Celebration of life service to be held at Redwood Chapel in Redwood City on June 1, 2019 at 1 pm and final resting for her and her beloved husband to be at Holy Cross Cemetery among those who went before her.
