San Mateo Central Park

Once again the laughter of kids can be heard at San Mateo Central Park. After seven months of playgrounds being shut down due to COVID-19, the state and San Mateo County officials have decided that it's now safe to reopen playgrounds with safety rules in place.

We were there earlier today, was sad to see the big metal slide was removed. I hope this is temporary and the slide will return.

I have missed the sounds of children playing at the park behind my house I am so grateful now to watch and hear them having fun. Central Park hosts the Firemens chili cook off every year which is so much fun. Plus I have watched adult softball there plus ice skating Finally things will open to much joy and fun. I am looking forward to it all.

About bloody well time. Considering the prevailing information regarding children and covid, I’m delighted kids, who can be exposed to covid and remain healthy, can once again do what kids do. Interact, play and have fun👍
