Five-fingered refund

A person stole items and then returned them for cash in a store on the 1800 block of El Camino Real in Burlingame before 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 14.


Vandalism. Paint was found on the sidewalk and eggs were thrown at a home on the first block of Dwight Road before 7:43 a.m. Wednesday, July 15.

Burglary. A window was broken and clothes were taken from a burgundy Honda CRV on the 100 block of Anza Boulevard before 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 15.

Physical fight. A person reported hearing screaming and the sounds of someone being pushed down the stairs on the 1500 block of Hillside Drive before 7:49 p.m. Wednesday, July 15.

Drunk. A person reported that their neighbor had been drinking in their living room and was now asking for help on the 500 block of Burlingame Avenue before 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 14.

Suspicious circumstances. A man stated that he saw beer present while customers were waiting for their green Chevrolet Tahoe to be cleaned on the 1000 block of Cardan Avenue before 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 14.

Foster City

Welfare check. The owner of a dog trapped in a hot car was contacted at Peninsula Jewish Community Center on Foster City Boulevard before 6:15 p.m. Monday, July 13.

Suspicious circumstances. A person called 911 to advise that there was a couple cleaning the inside of their vehicle in what he felt was a suspiciously thorough manner on East Third Avenue before 9:03 p.m. Monday, July 13.

Suspicious circumstances. A drunk man mistook a woman’s house for his and was yelling and banging on the door on Bonita Lane before 11:35 p.m. Monday, July 13.
