Police officers pursued a vehicle after they saw it fleeing the scene of a burglarized building early Sunday morning in South San Francisco.

According to police, officers responded at 3:45 a.m. to the 1100 block of Mission Road to investigate an activated alarm at a pharmacy that was burglarized.

When officers arrived, they tried to stop a vehicle that was fleeing the scene but its driver failed to yield, police said.

A pursuit ensued, during which the suspect vehicle was involved in two separate hit-and-run collisions, police said.

During the second collision, the vehicle became disabled and the suspects fled on foot. Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects, but were unable to locate them, police said.
