For the first time ever, Burlingame’s Art in the Park will feature My Monet: A Burlingame Children’s Art Exhibition featuring 42 selected works from Burlingame elementary schools.

Aiming to promote art and creativity within the Burlingame community for the children and to draw attention to the need for supporting the arts within the Burlingame public school system, this exhibition was created and sponsored by Raziel Ungar, a Burlingame resident and Realtor, with the help of Burlingame art teachers JoAnn Johnson and Linda Hoeck. Visit My Monet under the gazebo in the Kids Corner in the outfield.

The Burlingame Art in the Park runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13 at Washington Park, Carolan and Burlingame avenues, Burlingame. The free event will feature fine arts and crafts, kids’ activities corner, beer and wine garden, food court and live bands. For more information call 558-7300 or visit www.pacificfinearts.com.
