‘Help Meowt!’ a fundraiser for The Lost Cats, will be held on Wednesday, May 24 at Central Park Bistro in San Mateo. Here Treasurer Ted Howard, left, and President Amy Caufield get ready to take Ted’s cat, Love Sponge, for a ‘night on the town.’ The Lost Cats is a nonprofit organization that rescues homeless and lost cats in San Mateo, Hillsborough and Burlingame, and gets them fixed, chipped, vaccinated and finds them permanent homes.
