San Mateo County Central Labor Council/San Mateo County Union Community Alliance donation

With several hundred cars lined up on Rollins Road in Burlingame, Ed Galleguillos of Teamsters Local 856 and other union volunteers load groceries into open trunks, Grab and Go style, every other Thursday at the Machinists 1781 Union Hall. With boxes of dairy, fresh produce, canned goods and frozen chickens from Second Harvest Silicon Valley, the  union food distribution has served roughly 3,000 families since April. The distribution is a program of the San Mateo County Central Labor Council/San Mateo County Union Community Alliance, AFL CIO Community Services in cooperation with United Way Bay Area.
