Happy 100th

Martha E. Barrientos turned 100 years old on April 26. Martha traveled from El Salvador on a whim. She got a job as a welder at the shipyard in the Bay Area where she met her soon-to-be husband Salvador Barrientos, who was also a welder. She retired from the U.S. Post Office in South San Francisco after 20 years of service. She has three children Rosa, Zoila and Ben Barrientos. She resides in South San Francisco in a home she and Salvador purchased for $11,000.
