September is Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month, which includes National Suicide Prevention Week (September 8-14) and World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10). This month, individuals and organization around the county join their voices to amplify the message that suicide can be prevented, and that resources are available to support ourselves and others.

Create your own personalized self-care safety box here at the Pride Center! We will guide you through a series of fun, arts-and-crafts activities to reflect upon the positive connections and supportive relationships in your life. We will also walk you through the steps for creating a basic safety plan for use in crisis. You'll leave with your very own customized kit full of items and memories to help you get through tough times.

All ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, and allies welcome.

All materials and craft supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring your own if you’d like.

Food will also be provided!
