Guest speaker Stephanie Leonard,

The COVID-19 pandemic has required big changes to our state budget. If you were governor, what actions would you take to keep the budget in balance? What programs might you trim? What taxes would you raise? Whether the budget has you baffled or you already know exactly what you would do, be sure to join our July meeting.

Next10 is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that works to educate the public and equip policymakers with tools and information needed to reach comprehensive and effective solutions.

This program will focus on the California state budget, using the set of interactive tools developed by Next10 to bring about a deeper understanding of the opportunities and constraints facing our policy makers.
