The Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay Foundation announces our annual "Magic of the Coastside" Fundraiser. It is a night of fun, food and entertainment and a time to honor Coastside nonprofit organizations serving our community.
The event will take place Saturday September 7th from 5-9 pm at the I.D.E.S. Hall at 735 Main Street in Half Moon Bay.
Festivities include:Â the fabulous Lobsterfest, catered by New England Lobster Company; music by Irish Band Claddagh;a silent auction and a pay-as-you-go bar.
We are thrilled to bring the community together for two very special causes:
1. The Boys and Girls Club of Half Moon Bay is requesting funding for 80 low income elementary school children to attend break camps during Thanksgiving, Presidents Week and Spring Break where they will learn STEM subjects as well as traditional arts and sports.
2. SeaHugger, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and healing the marine environment from plastic pollution, has requested funds to enhance their capabilities in beach cleaup and outreach efforts through the acquisition of innovative tools and equipment.
