SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Restoration Robotics Inc. (HAIR) on Wednesday reported a loss of $7.9 million in its second quarter.

The San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents per share.

The maker of hair transplant devices posted revenue of $2.9 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit 69 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.70.
