'Know someone with contracting experience who is missing opportunities to earn more income because they don't have their own contractor's license? They may have done carpentry, plumbing, engineering, landscaping, painting, flooring, fencing, roofing, tile, concrete, or electrical work. If so, invite them to visit the free first session of our contractor license prep class--it meets in Foster City on Saturday morning, Oct. 10 from 8:15 to 10:45 and no advance reservation is needed. We'll talk about bid procedures, licensing requirements, and suggestions for filling out the state exam application (which we'll hand out in class). If they decide to enroll, they would return Saturday morning, Oct. 24, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 to sharpen their understanding of contracts, safety, accounting, insurance, project/job management, employee issues, and math. We also have hundreds of practice questions for them to work here before their state exam. Our course fee includes classes and well-organized class outlines/study notes and a trade study guide specifically geared to the trade in which they obtained their four years of experience. All classes are offered by and meet on the campus of Anthony Schools of the S.F. Peninsula, 1155 Chess Drive, Ste. 108, Foster City (located 1 blk. n. of 92, 1 blk. e. of Foster City Blvd.), surrounded by complimentary parking. For more info., to request a brochure, or to enroll in advance--stop by the school, or call 650-570-2284, or check www.anthonyfc.com. Course fee, including class binder is $460. After this series, check the website or call to find out our next series--or just drop by the school so we may further explain our program. We usually provide at least five series of Contractor license prep classes per year. We have offered live, actual classes for Peninsula students preparing for their contractor and real estate state exams for over 40 years, the last 20 here in beautiful Foster City.
