Irish over-rated

I thought Notre Dame was better than they showed Saturday in a blowout loss to Michigan. I thought there was no way the Irish would lose.
Ooops.
Not surprised, though. From the beginning I thought an 9-3 record was as would be a great season given their schedule. Now, 8-4 is a possibility.

The NBC Fighting Irish is overrated every year . In their last 8 bowl games, they are 0-8 including a nice 34-20 ass-kicking by Ohio State last season. That of course led to them renewing their shiny new coach's contract for a zillion years. Tyrone never got such love - guess it must be the skin tone or something

In spite of all the help they get from NBC television in their recruiting efforts, they have always been stuick in mediocrity. Everyone tries their best to prop them up and hype them up. Good that you don't buy into that too.
