Yamamoto said there is no way to tell when the studies will be done, or whether city planners will recommend the school conduct a full environmental impact report, a process that would take months. So if there is PCB's next to one site and something happens, who is liable? The planners need a full EIR and I double that Everest can waive liability and Sequoia and the taxpayers will be stuck with the bill just as they are when they rejected Everests bid all the way to the state Superintendent of Schools!

If the school doesn't open this year, Yamamoto said there is no way to tell when the studies will be done, or whether city planners will recommend the school conduct a full environmental impact report, a process that would take months. So if there is PCB's next to one site and something happens, who is libel?

Everest's first responsibility is to operate a physically safe school, so that it enhances teaching and learning.
