Hi, my name is Peter and I am a seminar junky. Stephen Covey, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins, Jim Rohn, T. Harv Ecker, Keith Cunningham, Deepak Chopra Robert Kiyosaki, Bob Proctor . . . . and on and on and on. I could keep listing, but I believe you've got the idea. I LOVE to learn and could easily be traveling every other weekend to a seminar for more and more endless learning.
A very dear friend of mine, got "hooked" on the seminar circuit, it cost him THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars, not to mention the time away from his family and a growing and growing dissatisfaction in life due to the fact that he was spent constantly learning that he needed to learn more! I don't want that for you!
When do I step out of the shadow of the teaching of others and create my own understanding? Knowledge IS power, but ONLY when you do something about it. I can't spend my whole life planting, I've got to do some weeding, and then I can appreciate my harvest.
Knowledge + ACTION = WISDOM
if I were to spend my entire lifetime learning and no time implementing I'd find myself frozen to inactivity! I don't want that for you!
I've got to fall in order to learn to get up from a fall. When I wait to take action only AFTER I have all my resources, I WILL NOT LEARN HOW TO BECOME RESOURCEFUL. I don't want that for you!
Strike out; you've got to make "your" mark. What IS your mark? I don't know I can't tell you that. IN FACT, no one can. You must begin to walk on the path towards your own success, and I know that path is one paved with little tiny repeated actions. Perhaps there's an idea you've been meaning to get started on, perhaps there's a success you know you can be. Don't wait for everything to be perfect because it won't be. All of your little actions will add up to create the mosaic that is your life!
