From Mess To Success™
Do you want to be rich? Do you want to feel like you have it all? Get grateful! When you take the time to become grateful for what you DO have, you will feel how much you really have. This feeling will make space for more things to follow. Being rich is a state of mind. It is not where you live physically; it’s your psychology that makes you rich. When you feel rich, life IS rich. This isn’t helping you to feel the richness of life? Then spend time with someone who has less than you do, or is less fortunate than you are. Whether that is someone confined to a bed for the rest of their life or someone in traction for months or someone living on the streets, you will see how much you truly DO have! You ARE rich.
I recently got to spend time with a gentleman named Moses who has experienced three strokes. Though his speech has returned, his physical body is still experiencing the paralysis that, for many people, accompanies a stroke. He has dedicated his energy in two directions. Moses is a TaeBo® fitness instructor and he is completing a book on life after a stroke. The time I was fortunate to spend with him, taught me a great deal. Your body is what your will and mind have decided it to be. People are rewarded in public for the work they do in private. What you see in people’s lives is the fruit of work that they have spent time, energy and focus on in private. When you go to the farmers market, do you look at the fruit and picture the countless predawn wake up calls that farmer had to do to prepare for the days work? Do you picture the cracked dry hands that worked till blistering? Or do you think of how good the fruit and vegetables will taste, or what kind of a deal you will get? This is natural to think like this. You plant the seeds of success when you work at something with the vision of what it will become. How many millions of people are employed by Microsoft® worldwide? Growth happens first before success can be measured; success works in subtle ways most people do not see in the beginning.
Many people have not developed their future vision. Future vision is hope with an upgrade! Future vision is seeing the victory OVER all the hard work that must be laid out beforehand. Future vision is a way of picturing your future with the feeling of knowing what you already have. This is a big contrast from hoping what your future will be. Hope is a positive emotion, but it is looking at your future through a lense of uncertainty, hope is not 100%.
Whether it’s the next promotion you’ll receive, the vacation you’ll take or the completion of the project you’re working on, you need to see ahead the roadblocks that may stand in your way. If you’ve seen your success and follow through with a commitment to it, the roadblocks turn more into opportunities for clarity than anything else.
How you choose to deal with obstacles now, before they are in the way can deliver more focus and greater resolve for when they do occur. Will it be the chance to procrastinate or the invitation to play instead of work that keeps you from making progress? These are things you can choose victory over. When you use your mind beforehand and visualize your way through what will stand in the way to success, you are mapping out your plan for success. How can you use future vision? You’ve got to develop it using the evidence of things unseen and the substance of things hoped for, have a little faith. Faith does not “believe” something might happen; faith knows what will happen. Follow through and I’ve got faith in you! There has never been a better time to exercise your faith than right now.
Have a Powerfilled day!!!
