I got a lot of response from my column a few weeks back about Tom Brady. Much of it was negative, in that the readers believed I should never think negatively of the San Mateo native though he is the quarterback for the New England Patriots.
Some was positive and those readers agreed that Joe Montana was the best quarterback ever and any threat to that concept should not be supported.
I was surprised, however, that many thought I wrote the column just to spark controversy. I would love if Brady would play for the 49ers, but until he does I just can't like him. It's just how I feel, sorry if some perceive that as controversial.
