Police Chief Bob Brennan used the Criminal Computer System to do what he calls a routine background check on the Town of Atherton Finance Director Mr. John Johns. He then waited for the crime to occur...the starting of the engine.
He then issued a FIX it ticket to the criminal.
Mr. Johns said that Chief Brennan, in the company of three other police officers, instructed him to get into his car, start the engine, stop the engine, and produce his driver's license. Mr. Johns said he was surprised to learn that his license had expired a month before, a slipup he blames on having forgotten to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of his change of address.
Yesterday November 27, 2007 at approx 7:40 AM Atherton Police Officer Tim Lynch found himself outside of his patrol car and on the private residence of Tim Wulff who just happens to work for the Town of Atherton. Mr Wulff approached the officer who was just getting in his car and leaving to ask him what he was doing at his house.....Officer Tim Lynch said he stopped because the alarm in Mr. Wulff's car had caught his attention....
Officer Lynch at no time came to the front door of the house to notify Mr. Wulff of the alarm story, Mr. Wulff just found him leaving... One other thing to note the car that the Officer Lynch was looking at DOES NOT have an alarm.....It did however have the documents Mr. Wulff was taking to a deposition that day at 2PM. The deposition was cancelled a little later.
These guys are good, They are there before crime happens.

Inspector Ivan Grosshauser, of San Mateo County District Attorney's Office was present at the hearing November 30th. It was mentioned in court that there is an active criminal investigation on going against Mr. John Johns....Also present was Town of Atherton Police Chief Bob Brennan.
You will recall he (Chief Bob) stated he had done a routine computer background check on Mr. John Johns for some unknown reason and discovered that his California drivers license had expired...Instead of letting the ex-Finance Director of the Town of Atherton know about this lapse, he instead ordered Mr.Johns to get in his car, start the engine, turn off the engine, get out of the car, and receive a Fix It Ticket.....
Atherton co-counsel Louis Leone, had stated to the court that he had been taking depositions on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week...What he didn't say was that a Town of Atherton worker by the name of Tim Wulff was scheduled for Tuesday at 2:PM. Mr. Wulff found an Atherton Police Officer on his property at 7:40 AM that Tuesday looking at his car.APD Officer Tim Lynch explained to Mr. Wulff that the alarm in his car had caused him to stop and get out of his cruiser..... Within 1 hour Mr. Tim Wulff deposition appointment was cancelled......
Note: Mr. Wulff's car does not have a car alarm.
React Task Force is based in the Town of Atherton Police Department.
The question is have any law enforcement officers used the criminal computer data base without proper authority? Could any person who accessed this data base alter information?
Can't wait for the Mary Topliff Report to be made public. It will be interesting to find out who had access to the laptop computers.

If San Mateo County can allow a Local 250 member fire a 1/4 inch think of union members eventhough one of them who the county threated to leave the Human Relations Division for trespassing, then College Park can legally murder both a male and a female billionaires with links to Atherton while the city's cops don't say a blithering word! If San Mateo County can justify a female billionaire to be bilked of her bank account while College Park set her on welfare without so much as a blink from the state, then San Mateo County will take a duck a goose and a bottle of wine when the facility murdered the former ambassador to Taiwan, as the Atherton police again did absolutely zinch!

The Town of Atherton does what ever its attorneys want to do. They promised a report would prove that Mr. Johns had created a hostile work enviorement.
Well the report does not prove that.
The only person who got hostile was Chief of Police Bob Brennan after Mr. John's made the mistake of suggesting an audit of the Police Department.

Sheriff Greg Munks refused to name his deputy who was caught having sex on the 8th floor Courtroom hallway last year.
Does the public have a right to know this information?

John Johns is a Whistleblower.

A six-month investigation that closed last month concluded there wasn't sufficient evidence to show Johns had committed a crime.
The District Attorney knew within a couple of hours that no crime was committed, they keep the investigation open to pressure Mr. John Johns.
a political favor

How're your posts doing over here, after getting pasted on the San Mateo Daily News boards? Looks like your adoring public is finally turning against you and your slanderous posts...get a life.
