Its been reported on the Daily News Readers forum that the San Mateo County Sheriff Department stated that Victor Willis was certainly not on their list of MOST WANTED CRIMINALS. In fact, according to the Sheriff, they were disappointed the AMW targeted Victor Willis (non-violent user) instead of assisting them with catching some of their real and dangerous criminals who are still on the loose and whom to this day remains a great threat to society of which Victor was and still is not.

According to the Sheriff Office: Steve Wagstaffe of the San Mateo District Attorney's Office is the person responsible for putting Victor Willis on AMW.

Also the AMW people squarly point to Steve Wagstaffe, and DDA Morley Pitt.

AMW staff admit it was the first show that a DA got involved in a segment. According to AMW DA'S are generally not featured on the show. Steve Wagstaffe was and so was Morley Pitt.

Its been reported on the Daily News Readers forum...

You know, the "daily news readers forum" or any other "forum" is hardly a worthy citation/source. It's as credible as me writing:

"It's been reported on a graffiti'd wall in downtown redwood city that Stogner is highly paranoid."

Good point D Dog.
What stogner fails to see again, is the obvious. A member of the Village People being a fugitive will attract a large audience. As opposed to, say, a sanity hearing for Michael Stogner. That is what is happening here. But Stogner will once again draft a conspirarcy theory worthy of a Baboon.

Attracting a large audience, is not part of the job discription for Steve Wagstaffe and Morley Pitt.

What the other poster had stated was that San Mateo County Sheriff Department said Victor Willis was not on their MOST WANTED LIST.

So even though Victor Willis was on Steve Wagstaffe and Morley Pitt's MWL.

and even on America's Most Wanted List he still wasn't on our Sheriff's List.

Big F***ing Deal.

If your diseased brain cannot understand how celebrities attract attention then you should seek help. Why was Mel Gibson's case all over the media moron? This Village People Guy was a wanted felon afterall. Funny how AFTER the TV show this guy turned himself in. Good Work DA's office!

It should be noted that sourcing a community forum posting by an anonymous person is not generally known to be reliable. It certainly would get laughed out of a news room.
Also, it is likely that America's Most Wanted simply did a news search on the Web. At the Daily Journal, we often get calls from other news agencies and television shows asking for information on stories we cover. It is likely someone at the show saw something about it and inquired at the county level.

Jon,
I agree but this is not a news room,
This is just some people posting in public.

also the information would be very easy to confirm.

Lorrain writes: By the way, that idiot Waggstaffe (Unconcerned Citizen).

I wouldn't be suprised if it turns out to be true that Steve Wagstaffe is (Unconcerned Citizen.) If true, we (San Mateo County) now have are highest ranking employee in the DA'S office (not elected) writing false posts on a public bulitin board.

If (Unconcerned Citizen) is Steve Wagstaffe, He certainly knows me, and he knows I am not a publicist. He also knows I have delivered the following letter dated March 30, 2005 to his boss James P. Fox, Our District Attorney, with cc:San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, County Manager, John Maltbie, and County Counsel Thomas Casey

RE: Deputy DA Al Giannini willfully and knowingly making false statements, mistating testimony and yesterday misstating law in the Eddie Rapoza case.

Dear Mr. Fox,

I am all for getting the bad guy in our county, but I am also in favor of a level playing field. Throughout the Eddie Rapoza case your office through Al Giannini has mislead the court and the jury. Yesterday specifically Al Giannini during cross examination od Dr. Schmidt misstated testimony of his eye witness at the scene of the auto accident. He stated that the witness saw the van traveling down Bernal Ave at a high rate of speed. He knows his witness Ms. Soloway has testified that she never saw the van until it was west of her neighbors house, which would equal about 150 ft in her sight, also from her angle she testified she couldn't see the brake lights. She could only see the side of one of them. Your office through Mr. Giannini states, "She never saw the brake lights go on." That is manipulation of the testimony.

Yesterday Mr. Al Giannini submitted a brief that misstated the law. Hon. Judge Carl Holm brought that to his attention.

Please remind Mr. Al Giannini of his oath, and correct this conduct immediately.

Sincerely.

Michael G. Stogner a concern citizen

This might be where the (Unconcerned Citizen) has come from.

Also in that same case "Eddie Rapoza's triple murder" County Counsel Thomas Casey's Office submitted a brief that misstated the law. This happens in San Mateo County more than you would believe. The common thread here is it is happening and being caused by San Mateo County Employees.
