Some call it the silly season — the time in which normally civil people begin acting in a less than civilized way. For us at the Daily Journal it is election season and for me it means countless interviews with people who believe they would be the best representative for their individual cities.
The Daily Journal recently began its endorsement interviews which run about 30 to 45 minutes each and we will start rolling out endorsement interviews beginning this week.
I would like to have most of them done before voters start turning in their absentee ballots since that is a growing trend.
By the end of the process, hopefully both I and the readers will have learned quite a lot.
