"Evidence of Things Unseen"
Photographic Group Show

This is the annual show that's sponsored by the Ultimate Eye Foundation. Two $5000 prizes are given for figurative and digital photography, so this event attracts a lot of applicants, and the "best of the best" are chosen for this show from entries that arrive from around the world.

If you have small children and you monitor what kinds of things that they're exposed to, I want to advise you that the show has a fair amount of full frontal nudity. Consider it "Rated 'PG-13'" for full nudity and some homoerotic ('though not explicitly so) content.

Refreshments will be served. The reception runs from 1 to 4 in the afternoon.

The museum is also open Wednesdays through Fridays from noon to 4PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4PM. Admission is always FREE during our regular hours.

Also, Ellen Chong's show closes this Sunday.

The new show in the Belmont Arts Council's gallery will open this coming Wednesday, and the reception for that show will be August 11. It's a group show in which every member artist will offer his/her unique interpretation of the "face" theme. You can expect to see mostly paintings in various media, some photography, and at least one ceramic piece (by me, naturally ;D!). I'm sure that this upcoming show will be entirely "Rated 'G'."
