Does anybody know when the next court date is for Ayres? Lets keep this case in the front line. Lets not forget about all the young men who have been abused by this so called doctor!

I think the next court date is June 28th, for the preliminary hearing. But check with the courts - I am betting that Ayres' lawyer will delay, delay, delay.

Does anyone know anything about Ayres' lawyer Doron Weinberg and his investigators ? What I am hearing is that the investigators on this case is that they have been using questionable tactics - that is, calling people and pretending to be the parents of Ayres victims and trying to pump them for information..

sounds like Ayres Lawyer is a low down dirty scoundrel for him to stoop so low to have his investigators call and pretend to be family of a victim. Maybe he is defending Ayres because he too is a cho-mo?

Weinberg is just a sleazy criminal defense lawyer. He defends big-time dope dealers and other such scumbags. The thing is, his claim that about 40 people could all have "distorted" thier memories is ridiculous, and a jury will surely see it as ridiculous. 40 people? And ALL of them are responding to "suggestions" placed in their minds by prosecutors? Really, Mr. Weinberg?

And I have no idea how he's going to explain Ayres's admitted conduct of "physical exams", which will be tough to present as legitimate. I suppose the rest of the child psychiatry community just doesn't understand the necessity for child psychs to see and touch thier boy patients' penises!

Ayres is surely aware that the consequences are serious, as he could spend the rest of his life in jail (where, as you know, child molesters aren't well-regarded) so he and Weinberg will resort to anything - technical loopholes - like challenging the validity of the search warrant of Ayres's records that led to the finding of victims within criminal statute - and now, apparently, private investigator skullduggery to dig up info on what the prosecution has on him.

Ayres may have presented himself to the world as a "community leader" and "doctor" but I believe that's a cover for his pathological compulsions towards looking at and touching the genitals of boys. He's probably a sociopath who feels no guilt about what he has done and is totally comfortable lying about it. I wouldn't put anything past him and Weinberg.

But mostly, expect Weinberg to try to delay, delay, delay any way possible...

I checked with reporters today and they have heard nothing about a June 15 court date. In fact, they expect the June 28 hearing to be delayed for several weeks.

My source of information is the clerk on the 4th floor of the courthouse this morning around 9:15AM....She looked it up on San Mateo County Court computer system.....

Some motion has been filed to be heard 6/15/07 from what I understand.

In light of this, I just double checked with reporters again. No motion has to be filed by June 15. The preliminary hearing is set for June 28, but the reporter told me he expects that to be delayed for several weeks.

Ok, Ayres' lawyer is filing a motion on June 15 to get the preliminary hearing pushed back, and the prosecutor is not opposing it.

So no hearing on June 28.

This is just a lull in the news coverage. There will be a preliminary hearing soon. I know that a television reporter is working on a story, and that the Chronicle is also working on a number of angles. The stories will be aired and published when the hearing gets going.

This is always the way it is in media coverage. They tie their coverage to developments in the story.

Each Judge is different....Keep your eyes on them....Some like Hon. Judge Thomas Smith do whatever he wants to do. he doesn't care nobody can do anything to him.

Why on earth would Hon. Judge Carl Holm only increase bail to half of what he originally set bail at. What would his motivation be?

You have to find out.....He sets it at $1,500,000 Smith lowers it to $250,000
He raises to $750,000 after more boys and counts are added......

What is his motivation???

Up until very recently this site was mostly viewed and used by Law Enforcement and employees of San Mateo County. and newspaper people.

DAA Aaron Fitzgerald recently introduced himself to me during a break in the Edith Delgado trial and after he found out who I was told me, "I have read some of your posts." I also have been told by some Sheriff Deputies that they have read my posts.

That also explains all the silly code names.

That is a GREAT Question for all of San Mateo County to ask.....

It turns out it is the same Judge who did both bails.

Don't forget he originally set bail for Dr. William Ayres $1,500,000......It was reduced by Judge Smith to $250,000.....Holm increased it to half of his original bail...now $750,000

If Ayres is innocent, as his lawyer is claiming, then why on earth would he have settled up with an accuser in 2005 ? It would seem to me that if you had nothing to hide and did nothing wrong, you wouldn't want to pony up any dough !

Could it be that Ayres got scared during that civil suit because at the last minute he found out that 3 other accusers were going to testify that he molested them, and he didn't want their testimony in the papers ?
