This week marks the 10th anniversary of me reporting and/or editing on the Peninsula. I started as the San Mateo editor/reporter for the Independent (remember that?) and moved to the Daily Journal in 2000 as managing editor, in 2001, I became editor in chief.
It's been fun. I guess that's why I'm still around.
Simi Lee and John Horgan at the County Times have more time in, however. I'm guessing they both must have at least 30 years experience writing on the Peninsula. Now that's some institutional knowledge.
