Supervisor Jerry Hill Regarding Greg Munks in a whorehouse

"He's an excellent Sheriff with a long history and an excellent reputation. I don't see this affecting his ability to act as Sheriff in any way."

This is the same mentality that the Board of Supervisor expressed when our County Manager John Maltbie was arrested in our own Prostitution Sting in 1993.

Prostitution has a theme in San Mateo County and our elected leaders are completely OK with it.

Oh, yeah, Munks is an excellent Sheriff. After all, every upstanding sheriff I know of gets detained and questioned (like Munks did) by the Las Vegas Police Department when he is in Las Vegas visiting a whorehouse.

Hill's statement is ridiculous and if this is the type of conduct Hill supports and condones from San Mateo County's top law enforcement officer, you have to question Hill's morality and judgment.
