What a stupid sheriff and undersheriff we have! If these guys needed to visit a whorehouse so bad, you'd think they'd visit one in the part of Nevada where it is LEGAL!

Regardless, neither of them is in a position to enforce the law anymore. Both should resign immediately!

Different story today...Carlos Bolanos was not waiting in the limo....
he was in the house...That makes more sense..Who in the hell would wait in a limo while his SORE Boss/Buddy was inside.

Carlos Bolanos should be removed, he is an employee of San Mateo County

Greg Munks is elected there is nothing we can do about him, except vote next time..He has nothing to worry about...untouchable for 3 plus years.

Its an embarassment and a major slap in the face to every single voter and the residents of San Mateo County that the Sheriff remains in office after such a situation. I personally believe that he should resign his position IMMEDIATELY and never serve another day in law enforcement.
It is sad though that a man who seemingly gave so many "good" years of his life to a profession that demands a high level of integrity and sacrifice would blow it all over a dumb choice. Too bad.

These two leaders must be removed ASAP.

Nobody will be able to work under their authority with any confidence. All credibility is lost.
If the Board of Supervisors fails to protect San Mateo County residents and it employees from these to men, they will pay the price at the elections.

The time to act is NOW not later.

I see the county finance department is looking to see if any tax funds were used for the sheriff's trip to vegas -- and the story notes that county vehicles were taken down there, too.

But, interestingly, the sheriff and his undersheriff were writing in a limo when they were cruising for a massage on Saturday night.

Were they too drunk to drive?

And what's the county's policy on taking vehicles outside the county? What if we had an emergency here, and needed those vehicles?
