Who is to blame for sending children to Dr. Ayres after a “child” victim reported abuse to the police department back in 1970s. Why would anybody even think about taking the risk of another child being abused? There job was to look after these children. Parents trusted these individuals to make good choices, choices that were in the best interest of there children. I say there are a whole lot of individuals that are to blame for this happening. I feel someone has some explaining to do; they owe it to the victims and there parents as well as the community! It appears people are hiding from the fact that someone allowed this to happen. What Judge or Probation Officer at Juvenile hall ordered these victims to be seen by Dr. Ayres?

Any Board of Supervisor who had knowledge that Dr. William Ayres was a danger to our children is responsible.

Any Dr. who had knowledge that Dr. William Ayres was a danger to our children is responsible.

Thes are just a few.

San Mateo County needs to have all reports of Child Abuse to to one single data base.

Currently if a child or parent reports an incident to the local police department or CPS the reports stay there, If deemed UNFOUNDED thats it. It goes no further. Also a chance to misidentify a abuse case.

If there were one data base where history determined that one Dr. had 10 or 30 UNFOUNDED reports against him or her that would show that we have more than a Dr. abusing children, we have trusted law enforcement officials, probation department employees committing crimes..etc.....

This might come as a suprise to most parents... This Dr. who was trained by Dr. William Ayres thinks its OK to have a minor child submit to a partial physical exam without the parent knowing.

Let's have Dentists and Eye Doctors give physicals too.

The original police file, including a copy of a $1,000 check that Ayres allegedly sent to the boy's mother in 1985 because of an "accounting error" after the youth refused to go to more sessions, is missing, according to a 2005 police report.

Why would this file be missing?

Marta Diaz was working in the DA's office in 1987-89. She is friends with Ayres personally and professionally. I too would like to know what part she played - if any- in the police investigation into Dr. Ayres in 1987. I have read that Dr.Ayres sent the family of Greg Hogue- the first boy to come forward about Ayres in 1987,a check for $1000 after the police confronted him. Why ? Was it a bribe ?

I don't know if the Munks case is going anywhere, and so I feel that the community of San Mateo needs to ask deeper questions about the County's inability to help the victims twenty years ago.

The tragedy is that the majority of Ayres' victims were from Hillcrest - and they are too ashamed to come forward. They have to know that it is not their fault - they were manipulated by an arrogant and pompous man who had only his own interests in mind.

The Munks Recall is completely in Sheriff Greg Munks control. If he choses to stay he will be recalled It is just that simple. 40,000 voters

What the Dr. William Ayres case is showing the residents of San Mateo County is that there is a small group of people in law enforcement, probatation, DA's office, judges who have let our children down, and worse who have caused harm to them......

Lets find out if Honorable Judge Marta Diaz did in fact play a role in stopping the criminal investigation of Dr. William Ayres. Who in San Mateo County is responsible for the Criminal Investigation to be determined as
UNFOUNDED. How many people involved and what are their names.

The Victims need to know we the residents of San Mateo County have let them down...

Here's the letter that Dr. Etta Bryant published in defense of Dr. Ayres last year. I hear from someone in the know that Dr. Bryant is a person who is easily manipulated and tends to be a little gullible. My source says Ayres probably dictated this letter to Bryant.

Let's not forget all the people who enabled Ayres to abuse these boy's now men. They need to be held accountable for there action too!

Here are some people I can think of who need to be held accountable:

-Judge Marta Diaz for telling the cops they "better be real careful in investigating Ayres" because he was her friend, and continuing to send boys to Ayres even though she knew he was being investigated for molestation

- Gerry Hilliard, head of San Mateo Private Defenders, for his outrageous remarks to reporters in defense of Ayres, and who has no interest in figuring out which boys who were evaluated by Ayres through his organization were molested.

- Half Moon Bay lawyer Kathryn Yolken, who was quoted in a July 16, 2005 story on Ayres in the Oakland Tribune as saying that the molestation accusations made by Ayres victim Steve Abrams don't "Ring true." She herself sent many boys to Ayres. Wonder if she's made any effort to find out if Ayres has harmed them ?

-Childrens Services, which has been insisting to reporters that they "haven't
used Ayres in years and years" when in fact they were using Ayres as recently as 2003 -in a child molestation case.

Points of law says that someone can be accused of any crime once a minimum of guilt can be proven.

like Dr. Etta Bryant, who wrote a letter to the San Mateo County Times defending Ayres' practise of giving "physicals " to kids - although no other child psychiatrist in the United States was doing this. What was Dr. Bryant thinking ? The San Mateo County Times quoted Dr. Hugh Ridlehuber, a former partner of Ayres, saying that a mother had complained that her son had been getting "physicals" from Ayres. Ridlehuber and the other partners were alarmed enough to call a meeting with Ayres. Ayres duped them, or maybe they allowed themselves to be duped... Could it be that they did not want to blow the whistle on their colleague ? Too much work ?
Not to harp on this issue but there are many victims of Ayres over the past 40 years who are suffering. The partners of Ayres could have stepped in 30 years ago when they started getting complaints. They are as much to blame as Ayres.

And what did psychologist Dr. Al Fricke know about Ayres and when did he know it ?
People should file a formal complaint with the County Grand Jury.Citizens of San Mateo: Do Not Be Complacent !

Has anyone been questioned at Hillcrest yet for allowing young boys to be Molested by Ayres. We all know someone at Hillcrest had to know what was going on in Ayres office with those kids. :mad:
