We received a call today from a man who identified himself as Angelo who expressed his distress that we printed a letter to the editor from Don Havis.
As a community newspaper, we try to print as many letters to the editor as we can with varied points of views as long as they are written clearly and do not libel anyone.
Our general policy is to print each letter in the order it comes in, but sometimes we have to move things around because of space.
Another e-mailer inquired about why we haven't run many letters about Bay Meadows and the answer is that we haven't gotten very many. So if you feel passionately about Bay Meadows, Don Havis or any other issue, send your letters our way ...
