We can shop at stores that only carry products for pets, and not stores that sell pets or keep pets for adoption. The SPCA is very good at keeping animals for adoption. I have believe pet supply stores with live animals on display are profit driven attempts to lure soft-touch shoppers and children into to their profit net. I say: "Don't buy animals from pet stores, ever!" Go to the SPCA!
