Just in time for Valentine's Day...

It's B-A-A-A-A-C-K!

I'm referring, of course, to the annual "Beaux and Eros" exhibit at the Peninsula Museum of Art

The exhibit consists of an eclectic mix of the exotic, the erotic, the sublime, the base, the just-plain-silly, the serious, the humorous, the everything-and-anything-that-one-could-imagine on the themes of Valentine's Day, love, lust, and relationships, in all media. (Just like last year. Only different.)

The Belmont Arts Council will also be exhibiting a rose/floral-themed show in their section of the building.

Come out to meet the artists (some of whom are CSM students), and enjoy light refreshments.

The address is 10 Twin Pines Lane (just off of Ralston Avenue) in Belmont.

And if you can't make it on Sunday the 28th, you'll have a chance to see the show over the next several weeks. The Museum's hours are as follows:
Wednesdays through Fridays Noon to 4 and Saturdays/Sundays 1-4. Admission is always free. (Donations gladly accepted.)

If you want an invitation to the "Beaux and Eros"-related fund-raising bash for the Peninsula Museum of Art, please post your contact info in this thread, and I'll take care of it. I believe that it will be on the evening of the 10th. The party last year included live music, tango lessons, flowing wine, and scrumptious chocolate desserts. I'm pretty-sure that the plans for this year are for "more of the same"--only better!

I posted this event on the Events Calendar, if this is OK with you.

OK, that's great--thank you! I'm pretty-sure that the people in charge of those events also posted them with the various locals newspapers, but double-coverage never hurts!
