49ers Coach Mike Nolan seems warm to the possibility of returning to the 49ers' vintage uniforms full-time. San Francisco wore the cherry-red jerseys and striped socks of the 1980s Super Bowl champions in Sunday's game, and the son of former 49ers coach Dick Nolan liked what he saw. "We've discussed it," Nolan acknowledged. "The players like the uniforms a lot, too. That's the key thing. It's a great uniform. ... I like it too, not just because I grew up with it. I like that red. ... Obviously, that's (owner) John York's decision, as much as anybody." ...
