People seem to believe that a World Series spot is a New York Yankee birthright.
But let's look at the numbers. The Yanks haven't been to the Series in three years and haven't won since 2000.
Yankee fans believe they're team has been at the top since their inception. But has everyone forgotten that the Yankees were absolutely HORRIBLE during the 1980s and most of the 1990s?
Granted, there are very few -- if any -- professional sports franchises that can boast the amount of titles the Yankees have won. But let's chill out on how great they are. They WERE great. Now, Like most sports, everything is cyclical.

George needs to dump Cashman. Firing Torre is unfair. The coach can't always take the blame for the team's failures.
