OK Giants fans, tell me if you want this player on your team:

- 25+ homers
- 40+ doubles
- 25+ stolen bases
- 80+ runs scored
- 80+ RBIs
- .271 batting average

Guess who put up these kind of numbers this season: <a href="http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/ari/stats/ari_individual_stats_player.jsp?playerID=291565"TARGET=BLANK> Eric Byrnes</a>

Former A's outfielder and current Arizona D'back. Add in his fire, intensity and passion for the game. That's worth a couple wins over the course of a season.

the giants could use someone like him -- not much natuaral talent, but tons of heart. but i dont think he can do so well at at&t park as he did this past season at the hitters paradise in Arizona.

His home run numbers would probably go down but there is a lot of room in that outfield. I could see his double and triple numbers going up.

The bottom line is the Giants need some kind of spark in the lineup. They've been lacking that the last couple of seasons.

You shuold apply for Sabean's job when he gets canned during the offseason.

Byrnes is an ALL STAR this year.
