Letter: Coincidence?
August 02, 2014, 05:00 AM Letter

Editor,

If not so tragic, it would be funny. The two letters published in the July 31 edition of the San Mateo Daily Journal, “Loss of life and prayers” and “Israelis value lives,” both said how Israel values children according to an article from the Associated Press “Deadly Israeli strikes hit U.N. school, market area.” When the Bible says, “let the children come to me.” I don’t think it holds that meaning.

What do you think of the new statewide plastic bag ban?

It's great, we need to get rid of them
Doesn't matter around here, they are already banned
Don't like it
Hope it starts a nationwide trend
Don't like it, but whatever
