Letter: Not all motorcyclists behave like those seen in New York City
October 10, 2013, 05:00 AM Letter

Editor,

Please do not assume all motorcyclists behave like those recently shown in the NYC videos. A vast majority, like me, enjoy riding, respect all road-goers’ rights and space and just want to get home to our families. It is embarrassing and terrifying that such behavior exists, on two wheels or four, and I worry such events will add tension and danger to already dangerous driving. Looking forward to more mutual respect and common sense among all.

Daily Journal Quick Poll

What do you think of the recent White House decision to change the name of Alaska's Mt. McKinley to Denali?

It's good to go back to what most people in Alaska call it
Never thought about it
We should keep the name McKinley
It's OK, but would be nice to find a different way to honor McKinley
How about keeping both names?
