Feeling powerless

Someone on North Ellsworth Avenue in San Mateo was having issues with their PG&E bill being too high and thinks the neighbor is stealing electricity, it was reported at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday, April 18.

Possible firearms discharge. Someone walking her dog near Palm and 17 avenues believed she heard one gunshot, it was reported 9:24 p.m. Tuesday, April 18.

Residential burglary. Someone entered a house on Monterey Street through a back sliding door, it was reported at 4:38 p.m. Tuesday, April 18.

Stolen vehicle. A silver Mercedes SUV was reported stolen from Eisenhower Street at 1:33 p.m. Tuesday, April 18.

Auto burglary. A car was broken into at Hemlock Avenue and South Norfolk Street, it was reported at 11:23 a.m. Tuesday, April 18.

Disturbance. A woman upset over a parking issue took someone’s cellphone and threw it to the ground then threw a lit cigarette into their car on West 39th Avenue, it was reported at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday, April 18.
