Four narcotics-related arrests in San Mateo
April 21, 2017, 05:00 AM

Police arrested four people Wednesday morning in San Mateo on suspicion of narcotics-related offenses.

According to San Mateo police, at 5:30 a.m., police and a SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence on the 500 block of East Santa Inez Avenue.

The search came after a monthslong investigation into the suspects at the residence for both property crimes and drug dealing, police said.

Prior to serving the search warrant, police conducted extensive planning to ensure the community was safe, police said.

The warrant was served without incident and four suspects were taken into custody for narcotic-related offenses. During the search, police also seized several ounces of narcotics.
