San Bruno home burglaries under investigation
March 20, 2017, 05:00 AM Bay City News Service

Two home burglaries that occurred last week in San Bruno are being investigated by police officers, police said.

At 11:40 a.m., Thursday, March 16, officers responded to the first burglary at a home in the 500 block of Skyline Boulevard where a burglar pried open a window to get into the home.

Once inside, a burglar rifled through the home’s furnishings but police don’t know yet whether anything was taken.

Later that day, officers responded to a second burglary in the 1000 block of National Avenue where a burglar stole two laptops.

Police said they found no sign that someone forced their way into the home, so they do not know how the burglar got in.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call San Bruno police at 616-7100 or email them at sbpdtipline@sanbruno.ca.gov. Information can be left anonymously.

Police said most burglars try to steal from a home when the residents aren’t there, so alert neighbors are the best help in solving burglaries.

Anyone who sees something suspicious is urged to call 911.

What do you think of the Trump administration releasing a nearly $650 million grant to give the green light for the Caltrain electrification project?

Great news, tremendous
I'll believe it when I see it
Glad, but wondering why it took so long
Don't like it
Not sure
