Man arranges to meet prostitute, gets confronted instead

A San Ramon man who arranged to meet a prostitute at a Belmont motel Tuesday night was instead met by two men, one armed with a knife, according to Belmont police.

At around 5 p.m., the man went to the Bel-Mateo Motel and, upon arrival, was approached by the two men. The man fled unharmed and called 911, according to police. The suspects were not located.
