Scots roar to title
June 02, 2014, 05:00 AM

Terry Bernal/Daily Journal

Carlmont rolled to the Central Coast Section Division I championship Saturday with an 8-1 win over nemesis San Benito. Senior pitcher Rebecca Faulkner fired a three-hit complete game to end San Benito’s streak of eight straight titles prior to this season. It is the Scots’ eighth all-time CCS crown and their first in 10 years. SEE SPORTS.
