Hundreds of people gathered to throw colored powder and water at each other to celebrate Holi, the Festival of Colors, in Foster City Saturday. Holi is one of the largest festivals in India and symbolizes cleansing, a fresh start and celebrating the coming of spring. Foster City Parks and Recreation Department along with Baybasi, Inc. paired in sponsoring this cultural community event held at the Leo J. Ryan Memorial Park.
