San Mateo man arrested for vehicle burglary

A San Mateo man is in custody for breaking into a car on the 200 block of Seventh Lane in South San Francisco early Wednesday morning, according to police.

At approximately 2:09 p.m., South San Francisco police say Ramon Camacho, 18, was seen trying to open doors of several parked vehicles, entered one and took items. Later, police said he tried to steal a vehicle parked to the rear of a residence in the area and was found sitting in a vehicle that did not belong to him.
