Osmond named as head of Notre Dame High School
February 28, 2014, 05:00 AM Daily Journal Staff Report

Maryann Osmond

The Notre Dame Board of Directors, Executive Search Committee and the Sisters of Notre Dame Provincial Team, announced the unanimous appointment of Maryann Osmond as head of school of Notre Dame High School in Belmont, effective immediately.

Osmond accepted the job as the interim head of school last July after the retirement of Rita Gleason.

“During these eight months of her interim appointment,” said board Chair Michael Maher, “Maryann has gained the trust and respect of faculty, staff, students and parents. Maryann’s style of leadership has exemplified the spirit of Notre Dame — one that supports and listens to each person and encourages open and honest communication.”
