• At its special board meeting on Jan. 22, the Peninsula Health Care District Board of Directors elected the 2014 Board officers. After five years as chair of the board, Daniel Ullyot stepped down, while the board unanimously supported that Lawrence Cappel assume the role of chair. 

Additional board officers for 2014 include vice chair Rick Navarro, secretary Helen Galligan and treasurer Dennis Zell.
