Volunteers Austin Perez and Johnny Daher take a Hula-Hoop break from their distribution duties at Samaritan House’s facility in San Mateo lest Saturday. Throughout the holiday season, more than 1,500 volunteers, along with donors from the community, help Samaritan House provide assistance to those in need. During the entire month of December, they will distribute food, toys and coats to thousands of low-income individuals and families.
