Four arrested for alleged drunken driving

Four people were arrested Friday for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs during San Mateo County’s Avoid the 23 Winter Holiday Anti-DUI crackdown.

That number is down from 13 DUI arrests that occurred during the same time in 2012, according to Avoid the 13 officials.

There were no deaths attributed to drunken drivers either year on that date.
